The government’s recent updates to the Home Buying and Selling Reform Roadmap announced on 19th June outline their plans to cut delays, reduce and digitalise paperwork, and stop sales collapsing.
There’s a desire to cut transaction times by an average of four weeks, and bring in sales packs to provide more information upfront. These packs will set out a home’s condition, leasehold costs and chain status to help buyers make more informed decisions.
