2024: A record-breaking year for Auction

2024 has been nothing short of phenomenal for Auction, marking our best-selling year yet! On behalf of our Partner Agents, we sold 10,991 properties—an incredible 16% increase compared to 2023.

Last year’s achievements demonstrate the value Auction continues to deliver, helping agents across the UK win new instructions, increase revenue, and delight their clients with a speedier, more secure method of sale. Here’s a closer look at some of our 2024 Auction results and milestones:

• 10,991 properties sold (+16% vs. 2023)
• 208,063 property viewings (+18% vs. 2023)
• £1.99m highest Sale Price
• 68,151 bids placed (+32% vs. 2023)
• £1.93b worth of properties sold (+18% vs. 2023)
• £41.4m fees paid to Partner Agents (+25% vs. 2023)
• Over 1,000 properties sold in a single month for two consecutive months
• Paying out over £10m in fees to our Partner Agents for the first time in a single quarter

Looking ahead, Auction will continue to support agents and buyers as the Stamp Duty Land Tax changes take effect on 1st April. With buyers seeking faster completions to secure favourable tax rates, the demand for Auction is set to stay strong throughout 2025.
